Citrin Cooperman is seeking a skilled and client-focused Workiva Implementation Manager to join our growing Workiva Services team within the Digital and Cloud Services practice. This role is central to delivering high-impact financial reporting solutions using Workiva’s cloud-based platform. The Manager will lead client engagements, oversee project delivery, and manage a team of consultants and offshore resources to ensure quality outcomes and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Workiva financial reporting implementation projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, and quality standards
- Manage and mentor Senior Consultants, Consultants, and offshore team members to ensure high-quality execution and professional development
- Cultivate strong client relationships by leading strategic discussions, aligning on project goals, and ensuring solutions meet business and reporting objectives
- Oversee solution design and configuration by guiding the team in translating business requirements into scalable, efficient Workiva implementations
- Ensure delivery quality by establishing review protocols, validating data integrity, and overseeing testing outcomes to support accurate and reliable reporting
- Monitor project progress, risks, and resource utilization to meet delivery and profitability goals
- Collaborate with Directors for strategic oversight, escalation support, and alignment with broader practice goals
- Contribute to the development of delivery methodologies, reusable assets, and internal training programs
- Support pre-sales activities such as scoping and proposal development, as needed
- Promote best practices in platform integration, automation, and financial reporting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience implementing financial reporting systems within a professional services or consulting environment
- 2+ years of hands-on Workiva implementation experience
- Experience managing project teams and client relationships
- Strong understanding of financial reporting processes and automation
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including financial modeling and complex formulas
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead delivery teams and manage competing priorities
Preferred Qualifications
- Workiva delivery certifications
- Experience with ERP, GRC, or ESG platforms
- Background in management consulting or public accounting
- Experience with business process documentation and flowcharting
- Project management experience
