The Yield  Analyst will be part of the Digital Yield Management team overseeing all inventory aspects of the Weather Company digital properties, including monitoring and forecasting inventory levels, assisting campaign optimization, supporting the sales team. The candidate must understand the business model of digital advertising, have excellent analytic skills, and possess expertise in manipulating, analyzing and reporting on data from various sources and tools. The candidate

must demonstrate a combination of business and technical skills with strong communication and project management skills. The qualified candidate must have a strong understanding of business processes, adapt quickly in an ever-evolving environment, and is capable of thinking out of the box and providing creative solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities:

·Use historical and pipeline information to forecast sales demand in highly requested areas and sponsorships

·Map unique visits and page views to sellable ad impressions across desktop and mobile devices

·Build impression and revenue models to provide forecast across multiple platforms and targets

·Review and improve inventory model accuracy

·Monitor forecasting tools in order to ensure accuracy of products and functionality of system

·Analyze digital capacity trends, assess inventory risks and issues, and identify root-cause

·Reporting

·Help develop operational and executive dashboards to drive informed decision-making across the company

·Manage inventory reports and communicate inventory landscape across business unit stakeholders, including digital sales, ad operations, finance, research, and ad product, etc.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or Higher
  • Possesses Working Knowledge of the Advertising &/or Internet Industries
  • Minimum 1-2 years Sales or Related Media Experience, Including Internships
  • Excellent Command of the English Language, Spelling and Grammar
  • Understanding of Media Math
  • Familiarity with YieldEx, Lotame, Operative and/or Salesforce.com
  • Experience Working with Ad Sales Pricing Policies and Guidelines
  • Excellent Organizational Skills, Ability to Prioritize Work and Meet Deadlines
  • Able to Manage Multiple Priorities Concurrently and Work Effectively Under Pressure
  • Self-Motivated and Able to Work with Minimum Supervision
