SureStart

SureStart is building a platform that trains, mentors, and connects diverse candidates to jobs in Machine Learning, NLP, Data Science, and other emerging tech fields. We provide pre-professional students with an end-to-end pipeline for tech and AI job readiness. We begin by training students in technical and strategic career skills to ace technical interviews using a collaborative learning model. Proximate mentors support students throughout their training, who offer guidance, encouragement, and accountability. From there, they are connected to job opportunities with SureStart industry ‘partners’ through an "always on" job fair on our platform.  At SureStart, we pride ourselves on putting our money where our mouth is: our mission of opportunity equity is built into our business model. We ensure the student is never burdened with the high cost that accompanies programs like ours --- neither before nor after the job hunt. Our customers are companies and universities --- both of whom benefit from diverse talent pool development, a significant reduction in recruitment time, and meeting DEI goals through a process.
