Glossier is looking for a Package Developer to provide support by development on all product launches. You will be expected to work cross-functionally to ensure all aspects of the package meet or exceed the quality, creative and product delivery requirements within a managed timeline and cost objective.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute package testing plans for all product programs
• Bring Design-To-Value into every new development program ensuring that construction and design provides the most cost effective way to achieve design criteria while providing the best function and quality
• Partner with external 3rd-party manufacturing sites to provide Quality Assurance guidance for the brand
• Development of all in-line sampling initiatives 
• Work with Operations team to strategically establish filling/assembly instructions
• Defining and issuing component specifications and standards to ensure quality throughout production
• Build relationships with component vendors and 3rd-party manufacturing sites
• Identify and inform brand of any risks and/or delays during the course of development 
• Attend line trials and production runs as needed
• Development of shipper pack-out and coordination of transit testing plans
• Establish workload priorities so that all projects are managed within expected delivery

Qualifications

• BS Degree of Packaging or Engineering
• 2-3 years experience with a prestige beauty brand
• Knowledge of packaging materials used in construction and manufacturing of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging
• True team player who builds strong relationships with teammates and external partners and who excels in collaborating with teams in a demanding environment
