Business Development Intern (Summer 2017)
The Business Development team is responsible for identifying and driving key business opportunities at Flatiron. In this internship, you’ll work with a cross-functional team at Flatiron focused on launching a new strategic initiative.
Responsibilities:
In order to build out the business plan and go-to-market approach for this initiative, key activities will include:
- Coordinating and executing market research, customer diligence, and building messaging and pitch materials.
- Collaboration with Flatiron and external partners will provide direct exposure to the oncology practice market and the opportunity to help drive the positioning and strategy of the initiative.
Requirements:
- Robust project management skills
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Highly analytical, strategic thinking with the ability to translate between strategic business decisions and their implications
Bonus points:
- Knowledge of healthcare management / oncology
- Knowledge of M&A deal experience.
