About the role: 

Q is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to build and lead our Sales & Customer Operations team. You will work closely with sales, account management and marketing to build out a strong operational infrastructure to support a rapidly growing team. You will be a critical part of Q’s continued growth and success.

About you:

  • You are an experienced sales operations leader, and a salesforce expert with strong analytical skills. 
  • You are great with people, and deeply understand the needs of a sales team. You don’t carry a quota, but you think like a salesperson - sales is in your DNA.
  • You know how to identify areas for improvement in sales process and structure, and to proactively drive change.
  • You understand how to build strategy and execute with buy-in from multiple departments.
  • You have strong communication skills, are highly organized, and can juggle working on multiple projects at once.
  • You are highly motivated, and love the fast pace of a high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and lead a world class sales operations team to support a rapidly growing business
  • Analyze sales and account management activities and metrics to identify areas for improved efficiencies and accelerated growth
  • Engage with sales reps, account managers, and sales leadership to get ongoing feedback on the sales process and structure, and to drive improvements
  • Design and develop weekly reporting to provide ongoing trend analysis and insight to sales management and company leadership
  • Project manage key cross functional initiatives for new tools, systems and processes supporting the revenue generating teams
  • Ensure adoption and optimization of all tools, processes and policy
  • Support ongoing optimization of sales and account management territories
  • Own tracking and reporting on commissions for sales and account management

Qualifications:

  • 5-7+ years of sales operations or a mix of finance, sales and sales operations experience
  • Preference given to experience in SaaS companies, or B2B, subscription businesses
  • Experience managing, leading, and developing a team
  • Deep knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce, and other sales enablement tools
  • Experience researching and implementing new sales tools to aid the workflow of high performing sales and account management teams
