Position: Inside Sales Manager  

Reports to: VP, Sales

Thuzio is a talent solutions & influencer marketing company founded in 2011 by former NFL Giant Tiki Barber, Mark Gerson of Gerson Lehrman Group, and former Seamless Executive, Jared Augustine.  We have two separate business divisions, Julius and Thuzio Executive Club.   The Julius team provides influencer marketing software to marketing agencies, media companies, PR firms, and brands directly.   Whether you are looking to source talent for an event, leverage an online influencer for a paid social campaign, or create new content/videos/ads with influential talent, our software is the leading solution.

Position Mission: 

The Inside Sales Manager will provide leadership and guidance to the Julius Sales Development Team, which is responsible for generating new qualified opportunities for our Business Development Managers. The SDR role is a hunting role that is crucial to feeding the sales pipeline to contribute to organizational sales goal achievement. As an Inside Sales Manager, you will work to advance the success of the team, increase overall efficiency and productivity, and help grow the teams’ number of qualified opportunities through effective prospecting methods. 

You must be team oriented, passionate, over achieving and hands on as a coach and leader. The right candidate must possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continually drive and deliver tremendous results.

You have the vision to evaluate existing situations and create new approaches to promote continuous growth, leading the team through new and changing initiatives. 

More about your role and responsibilities:  

  • Manage, mentor and coach the Sales Development Team via an open-communication environment
  • Organize and manage the Sales Development Team’s day-to-day activities
  • Conduct regular team standups to keep the SDR team aligned on company goals and priorities
  • Conduct weekly 1:1 meetings with each member of the team to coach and deliver feedback
  • Create and implement motivation plans for the Inside Sales Team, including setting targets and activity metrics for your team
  • Research and implement new processes, tools, communications, training and methodologies to ensure the Inside Sales Team's success
  • Report on inside sales metrics and spearhead improvements
  • Research and implement methods to increase customer engagement
  • Ensure Sales, Finance and Customer Success procedures are followed
  • Collaborate with VP of Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Product to provide customer feedback and facilitate new programs, messages, campaigns and offerings
  • Train new members of the sales team on prospecting tools, methods, and salesforce usage. 

Relevant Experience and Skills:

  • 2+ years of experience managing a team of Sales Development Representatives / Inside Sales Representatives
  • A winning attitude and a desire to lead, motivate, and support sales reps
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Pardot  
  • A high work ethic and energy
  • Sense of humor and entrepreneurial thinking
