The Partner Sales Executive is responsible for achieving sales, profitability, and partner recruitment objectives in the video platform space. This role is responsible for scaling innovative partner engagement strategies, comprehensive solutions and influential execution practices.

In this role: 

  • You will strategically prospect, develop, and close new business partnership co-selling and value added reselling opportunities
  • You will serve as a ‘trusted advisor’ to key Partner leaders; managing and leading partner on-boarding, partner certification, and sales enablement
  • You will map and understand client org; identify key players, decision makers, and influencers
  • You will maintain a clear understanding of JW Player’s industry while effectively adapting to changing dynamics
  • You will be responsible for developing great relationships with existing channel partners/resellers in order to grow revenue
  • You will proactively collaborate across the organization including Product, Direct Sales, Customer Success and Operations to ensure successful partner experiences

Requirements:

  • 5+ years experience in SaaS based Partner Sales, Channel Sales or Business Development experience and a background selling solutions based technology
  • Experience achieving annual quota of at least $1million in new business and a history of consistent quota over-achievement in highly competitive markets
  • Experience implementing effective partner recruitment strategies, conducting in-person sales calls, and having a history of educating partners to achieve success.
  • Must have consultative selling skills, excellent listening, analytical and problem solving skills as well as strong closing skills. You should have excellent communication and executive level presentation skills.
  • Experience in enterprise software development, media technology, video and/or cloud computing industry
  • Proven Ability to deliver expected results in driving pipeline growth for SaaS-based deals
  • Proven experience as a change manager and adept at driving transformational breakthroughs in business execution
  • Must be comfortable analyzing sales data and utilizing sales tools, including Salesforce.com
  • Must be organized and detail-oriented with excellent follow-up skills
