About the Role

Whether it is advising a department on which team assets to deploy or activating new campaigns to our users effectively, FanDuel strives to ground all of its recommendations in data. That’s where you come in. We are looking for a Planner who can support the League & Team Partnerships group as it deploys a series of campaigns focused on maximizing revenue from our sponsorship portfolio. This will include accessing CRM segmentation, partnering with Business Intelligence to deploy A/B campaign testing, and executing large-scale sponsorship campaigns.

The right person for this role is an analytical thinker who enjoys getting their hands dirty in the data. This person will support projects across multiple teams (internal and external), so it is important that you be someone who can manage your time efficiently across multiple projects. 

What you'll do

  • Own, manage and optimize our portfolio of League & Team Marketing Campaigns, managing up to 20 campaign iterations simultaneously
  • Assist team in supporting the day-to-day needs for various partners including building PowerPoint presentations, testing surveys, working with vendors, etc.
  • Access data from internal systems and tracking tools to provide Executives with recommendations for optimization – you must learn and love the data
  • Perform tasks and responsibilities required with conscientiousness to produce high-quality, accurate deliverables

Characteristics of a successful candidate

  • You have a passion for and expertise in sports, entertainment and gaming
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field 
  • Demonstrated experience which can include internship work
  • A self-starter with a “no job is too small” positive attitude
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Demonstrated data visualization skills and comfort with telling a story through numbers
  • Advanced training in Microsoft Excel, including logic functions desirable
  • Knowledge of sports business landscape desirable
  • SPSS or similar statistical software experience desirable
