As a Senior Client Strategist, you will be part of our Integrated Solutions Group, a team who build connected environments by providing digital strategy, infrastructure and products. As a pioneer in this space, we are at the forefront of urban technology and are the company behind LinkNYC (and now LinkUK). In our “Connected Communities” vertical, we are working with neighborhood scale real-estate developers who want to integrate technology into the heart of their projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop relationships with C-level executives and client stakeholders to create and implement effective strategies that solve client challenges and maximize the value delivered by Intersection services
  • Collaborate to define project objectives, set key performance metrics, and establish project approach
  • Manage client accounts with outcome of high customer satisfaction, strong relationship retention and account growth
  • Achieve sales and billing targets (to be set annually / adjusted quarterly)
  • Develop an understanding of the client’s business environment and strategy
  • Proficient in account planning and understanding of budget management
  • Manage forecast accuracy on a monthly/quarterly/annual basis
  • Perform competitive analysis and identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace
  • Assemble strategic insights into presentation materials for clients
  • Keep abreast of emerging behaviors, technologies, and companies that are changing our clients’ businesses
  • Lead or collaborate on client engagements on a day-to-day basis
  • Be able to lead/execute expert interviews and client presentations
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to design solutions to client challenges
  • Contribute to business development and thought leadership activities

 

Requirements:

  • 5-10 years external experience with proven consultative sales with or adjacent to real estate and urban development, preferably experienced in high technology, with evidence of prior success in Sales and Relationship Management
  • Understanding of trends impacting urban developments and cities more broadly, such as transportation, parking, and housing
  • Practitioner within Design & Technology
  • Ability to execute the full life cycle of the sales process from prospecting to close
  • Ability to prospect and manage C-level and senior level relationships within medium and large organizations
  • Proven experience building excellent client relationships, adding value and providing strategic insight into their business

Desired Qualifications:

  • BA/BS or Advanced Degree in Urban Planning, Design Architecture, Computer Science or related fields, with demonstrated work experience with technology in the real world
  • Relevant experience in customer relationship marketing, marketing strategy development or program management
  • Analytical experience that includes a blend of customer data and financial measures, business case development or customer and marketing program performance analysis and research
  • A mix of client-side, agency and consulting experience
  • A proven history of anticipating and managing client needs to meet near-term and long-term deliverables
  • Strong presentation and content generation skills with expertise in the development, writing and delivery of presentations
  • Experience with troubleshooting complex technical issues, as well as technical, product and/or infrastructure deployment experience, is a preferred.
