TAM – Technical Account Management (Sales Engineering Department)
Housed within our product org, the Technical Account Manager role at Kargo sits at the intersection of business and technology. It requires an even mix of account management and front-end development skills. You will be working directly with Kargo’s premium publishers; managing expectations, owning technical integrations of Kargo proprietary technology; all the while, providing excellent service and building strong relationships. Day to day, you will be developing, testing, and troubleshooting solutions for publishers.
The Requirements:
- A deep understanding of how mobile websites work and knowledge of common development tools such as Chrome Inspector (device emulation) & Charles Proxy are key benefits for this role
- Experience working independently, with focus on cross department communication and a desire to solve problems
- Design and develop ad solutions for top-tier media websites using HTML/CSS and Javascript
- Guarantee the technical aspects of a partner’s integration (both new and ongoing) by providing necessary documentation and technical guidance
- Test and troubleshoot implementations using common front-end web development tools.
- Understanding of the online advertising industry, preferably from the perspective of a publisher, SSP, DSP or other publisher tech provider
- Be a technical owner for onboarding all Kargo publishers
- This role interacts with all teams across Kargo - engineering, ad product, operations, creative, data, programmatic, publisher and sales teams
- Experience with measurement vendors, such as IAS, DV, Moat, etc.
- Perform implementation reviews, advocate new product features, and ensure the prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges
- Passion for problem solving and ability to work well in a cross-functional team environment
