We are building a world class sales team and looking for a leader to drive sales strategy, and position Mic for success in the agency and advertising community. This position will report to our SVP of Sales.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own positioning and communication of Mic to drive market leadership
• Drive the creation of the right materials and programs
• Develop and manage custom client programs
• Produce big-opportunity RFP responses
• Attend key client/agency meetings to better understand needs and challenges
• Take ownership of systematically tracking feedback from the field and optimizing sales stories, programs, and materials accordingly to maximize success
• Help define new ad products

Qualifications:

• 8-10 years experience in digital advertising/marketing
• Demonstrated ability to understand Mic’s editorial content and client needs and successfully merge the two to tell a clear, compelling story
• Strong writing, communication, and presentation skills
• Experience integrating primary and third party research to validate positioning
• Ability to work across departments to influence and gather resources to support strategy and prioritize workload
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines and manage expectations of all stakeholders
• Proven ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and work as a team player
