If you have basic knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and want to learn more about D3.js, come to this one-hour course. You’ll learn how to load data into your visualization and how to use linear scale. Hear from engineer Paul Buffa, who has experience teaching data visualizations fintech, marketing, education and more.
New York Metro Cyber Security Conference 2017, Oct. 4 at 8 a.m.
Cyber security professionals are invited to attend the fourth annual conference that provides training and education, along with networking opportunities. There will be a keynotes, panels and sessions that further develop your skills.
New York Tech Crawl, Oct. 5 at 5:30 p.m.
Attend this crawl and check off a number of different NYC tech offices on your list. You’ll get the chance to tour startup offices and VC firms around the city and get a feel for the culture at each of them.
