Runwise, a software company developing solutions for building infrastructure, secured $55 million in a funding round led by Menlo Ventures. The Series B round brings Runwise’s total capital raised to $79 million.

Many buildings still operate using outdated infrastructure that is costly and produces high CO2 emissions, according to Runwise’s co-founders. The company aims to equip businesses with intelligent infrastructure that is scalable and quick to deploy. Runwise’s hardware, wireless connectivity and cloud-based software work to automate and optimize building operations.

The company has recorded significant growth since its seed raise, and it expects to see nearly double growth again in 2025. Runwise serves more than 1,000 customers, including real estate operators Equity Residential, First Service Residential and Port Authority. With its software deployed in over 10,000 buildings, Runwise plans to invest in product innovation, team growth and market expansion.
