Spark Advisors, an insurance specialist serving Medicare brokers, announced the appointment of its new chief operating officer. Pooneet Kant, who previously served on the company’s board of directors, will take on the role after working closely with Spark’s leadership since late 2024.
Kant has over a decade of experience in leadership roles at organizations like Uber and Compass. He has focused on growth, expansion and operations within industries including healthcare, transportation and real estate. In his new role, Kant will focus on managing Spark’s operations and building infrastructure to help the company scale with discipline and consistency.
“We are deepening our capabilities to become the end-to-end healthcare navigation platform connecting brokers, carriers and beneficiaries — fixing disjointed data and workflows so brokers can stay on top of coverage changes and serve as trusted advisors across their clients’ full healthcare journey,” James Jiang, Spark’s CEO and co-founder, said in a company blog. “Executing this vision requires operational rigor and disciplined expansion. Pooneet’s new role is one of the ways we’re continuing to invest in leadership and systems to help our partners succeed.”
