Executive leader responsible for AECOM’s New York project and program management business. Oversees complex capital programs, construction management, client relationships, business development, financial performance, staffing, portfolio delivery, governance, risk, quality, and stakeholder alignment across public- and private-sector infrastructure clients.

Leads scheduling across complex, multi-project transportation programs. Integrates project schedules, manages interdependencies and risks, aligns resources, supports estimating through construction closeout, and provides strategic updates to program management and senior leadership. The role also guides project controls teams, mentors scheduling professionals, and ensures schedule integrity and alignment with program objectives.

AECOM is collecting resumes for future internship and entry-level STEM opportunities across transportation, environmental, buildings, water, and project or program management disciplines. Candidates should be pursuing an engineering science or construction management degree. Preferred tools include BIM, GIS, and project management software. Positions may involve frequent travel to project sites, including overnight and air travel.

Manage RFQ and RFP responses across Program Management, including proposal strategy, compliance schedules, content writing and editing, review meetings, graphics coordination, subcontractor materials, quality control, and final InDesign layouts. The role collaborates with capture teams, marketing staff, project teams, graphics professionals, and subconsultants to produce accurate, compelling, compliant submissions.

Manage design and construction-phase services for transit rail projects in the New York Metro area. Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, multidisciplinary design teams, client and contractor coordination, project administration, and design-build or design-bid-build delivery. Support RFQ and RFP pursuits, guide marketing efforts, and mentor mid-career staff. The role requires a professional engineering license and extensive transit rail project management experience, especially with NY-area agencies and FRA/FTA requirements.

Provides economics and strategy consulting for infrastructure, public policy, real estate, and project finance clients. Leads microeconomic modeling, econometrics, cost-benefit analyses, market assessments, financial modeling, and impact analyses. Develops executive presentations, advises senior stakeholders, supervises junior analysts, and supports business development, technical writing, and client engagement delivery.

Leads electrical and instrumentation and control CAD design for power-generation and industrial projects. Oversees deliverables, complex CAD tasks, 3D modeling, constructability, safety, budgets, staffing, schedules, bills of materials, quantity takeoffs, data integration, standards, quality checks, and multidisciplinary coordination from feasibility through construction support. Supports business development, proposal preparation, stakeholder meetings, and remote team leadership, with occasional travel.

Leads program controls for complex, multi-project infrastructure programs, overseeing cost, schedule, scope, risk, performance, resource allocation, and interdependencies. Provides strategic guidance to project controls teams, standardizes processes, assesses program performance, recommends corrective actions, and communicates actionable insights to executive leadership and stakeholders. Develops high-performing teams and supports governance across transportation, water, and aviation programs.

Oversee complex design-build construction projects in an Owner’s Representative role. Manage execution, budgets, schedules, contracts, payment requisitions, change orders, documentation, stakeholder communication, site inspections, quality, and safety. Provide on-site leadership across multiple NYC locations and coordinate with design-build teams, agencies, and project stakeholders.

Lead delivery of large transportation programs (transit rail, highway bridge, heavy civil) in the NY/NJ market. Oversee project phases, budgets, schedules, contracts, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and staffing; act as primary client liaison and mentor project teams. Ensure compliance with commercial, design, construction, sustainability, and community requirements.

Lead delivery of large, multi-year water/wastewater capital programs from planning through construction. Oversee budgets, schedules, procurement, risk mitigation, stakeholder engagement, technical quality, safety, reporting, and subordinate managers to ensure successful program outcomes.

Manage multi-discipline transit rail design projects in the NY Metro area: lead teams to deliver schedules, budgets, and high-quality design deliverables; coordinate construction-phase services; pursue and respond to RFQs/RFPs; mentor staff; maintain client relationships; develop project schedules and cost estimates; become AECOM-certified Project Manager within one year.
