Leads cargo claims operations, managing a portfolio of 90+ active and complex high-value claims. Responsibilities include claim investigation, documentation, negotiation, salvage and recovery decisions, insurance coverage administration, regulatory reporting, deadline management, process improvement, and mentoring claims staff. The role works with customers, shippers, carriers, consignees, and agents while ensuring accurate and compliant claim resolution.

Researches and resolves LTL carrier invoice discrepancies, billing exceptions, accessorial charges, and freight-bill disputes. Validates charges against pricing agreements, tariffs, shipment records, and documentation; communicates with carriers and internal teams to secure corrections and credits. Tracks disputes through resolution, maintains records, identifies recurring billing issues, supports audits and process improvements, and helps ensure accurate customer billing.
