The Director of Digital Marketing leads integrated B2B and B2C campaigns to increase ASCAP brand awareness and attract music creators and users. Responsibilities include digital marketing strategy, audience targeting, SEO and AEO, content planning, advertising, marketing technology optimization, agency and vendor management, budget oversight, analytics, attribution, reporting, and end-to-end project management. The role develops creative briefs, tracks campaign KPIs, presents insights, and works autonomously in a hybrid office environment.

Matches live concert program titles to works in ASCAP’s internal repertory database, classifies works by genre, instrumentation, and duration, creates and updates work records, merges duplicates, and researches member-submitted programs for annual royalty distribution. The role also supports special projects, collaborates with team members, and recommends process improvements. A strong general knowledge of music, especially classical music, plus research, critical-thinking, communication, and database-record maintenance skills is required.

Document and maintain member agreements and related records, verify payment and membership data, coordinate interdepartmental and attorney requests, communicate with members and representatives, and support Business & Legal Affairs administrative needs.

Plan, schedule and perform compliance audits of ASCAP licensees across diverse businesses. Prepare audit workpapers, document findings, identify root causes, reconcile calculations, and collaborate with Legal, Sales, and Finance to resolve issues. Produce audit reports and ensure accurate royalty distributions for members.

Provide legal support to ASCAP's Business & Legal Affairs and Membership teams: draft, negotiate, and manage member agreements, advise on repertory and distribution policies, assist with complex member transactions and estate matters, and support strategic departmental initiatives and special legal projects.

Lead project execution from discovery to launch for Product Team, owning timelines, risk mitigation, change control, documentation, and stakeholder sign-off. Establish and maintain PM processes, manage requirements, create JIRA tickets, coordinate testing and vendor SOWs, and drive cross-functional collaboration with Legal, Security, Technology, Marketing, and Senior Leadership.
