The Project Accountant manages accounting for construction and development projects, including subcontractor and vendor payments, construction billings, job cost documentation, budget-to-actual analysis, cash flow forecasting, and account reconciliations. The role collaborates with project teams, finance, vendors, subcontractors, and senior management while ensuring compliance with company procedures and timely, accurate financial reporting.

Manage the company’s HR functions, including recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, payroll processing, workers’ compensation, onboarding paperwork, interviewing, background checks, employee coaching, and progressive guidance. Coordinate with managers and ensure accurate, timely payroll documentation and HR administration.

Directs the company’s insurance and risk management programs, including insurance purchasing, claims and loss control, broker and insurer relationships, loss analyses, budgeting, exposure identification, compliance monitoring, and loss prevention initiatives. Reports to the Chief Accounting Officer.

Administer and audit point-of-sale systems, manage billing, reconcile accounts receivable discrepancies, prepare account analyses and general ledger reconciliations, and support accounts payable and capital improvement reviews. Provides customer service and backup IT support, troubleshooting Windows, Microsoft Office, network, email, wireless, LAN, and printing issues.
