Teams at Axios

Leads engineering strategy, architecture, reliability, delivery practices, and vendor selection across Axios products, platforms, workflows, and internal systems. Develops engineering managers and senior technical leaders, strengthens planning and quality, aligns engineering capacity with business priorities, and partners with executive, product, design, newsroom, and business stakeholders. The role also drives AI adoption in software development and defines engineering standards, benchmarks, and operating practices.

Leads Axios Live’s editorial vision, programming, standards, and team development across live events and digital coverage. Connects booking and coverage functions, partners with newsroom, sales, communications, and partnerships, and ensures editorial integrity across scripts, interviews, marketing materials, recaps, and social content. Shapes new formats and revenue opportunities while using AI and emerging tools to improve workflows. Requires strong newsroom judgment, writing and editing expertise, senior guest relationships, and the ability to operate under pressure and travel for major events.

Leads Axios Product, Design, and AI Enablement organizations; establishes company-wide product strategy, prioritization, governance, and decision rights. Partners with senior leaders and the CTO to identify opportunities, evaluate AI-enabled ideas, and turn successful experiments into durable products and shared platforms. Oversees product portfolio management, strengthens product leadership, and guides development across editorial, revenue, operational, and consumer-facing products.
