Work directly with small engineering teams across two or three portfolio software companies to accelerate development using AI coding tools. Drive net-new business growth for humanitarian software by generating outbound and inbound pipeline, qualifying prospects, leading discovery, coordinating demos, managing proposals and procurement, closing customers, and supporting onboarding handoffs. The role owns the full B2B sales cycle, develops sales processes, manages long-running opportunities, and sells to humanitarian aid, nonprofit, and NGO organizations.

Product Counsel will advise Beacon and its portfolio companies on product development, IP strategy, technology agreements, open-source compliance, AI and emerging technology, regulatory issues, and M&A technology diligence. The role manages patents, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets, licensing, product terms, and scalable legal playbooks while partnering directly with product, engineering, and commercial teams across multiple industries.

Own product outcomes across 2–5 portfolio companies, leading planning, roadmaps, prioritization, customer discovery, sprint execution, and feature launches. Partner with founders, GMs, operators, and cross-functional teams to ship software and improve business results. Develop reusable product playbooks across companies, coach product teams, and potentially build and lead a team of Product Managers as the portfolio scales.

Lead growth initiatives across Beacon’s portfolio companies by identifying, prioritizing, and launching revenue-driving experiments. Responsibilities include optimizing marketing funnels and growth loops, running acquisition and outbound campaigns, building GTM playbooks and AI-enabled tools, improving conversion, collaborating with product leads and company GMs, and hiring growth talent.

Own post-acquisition integrations from close through handoff, coordinating IT, Finance, GTM, Legal, HR, and acquired-company leadership. Manage plans, timelines, cadence, escalations, technical system migrations, status reporting, and playbook improvements. The role requires hands-on cross-functional program leadership, process creation, strong communication, adaptability, and familiarity with identity, device management, SaaS platforms, and related security or compliance programs.

Lead product design engagements across Beacon’s portfolio companies, from customer discovery and problem definition through delivery, adoption, measurement, and handoff. Partner with operators, product teams, engineers, and designers to create reliable software and AI-enabled workflows, validate solutions with customers, manage risk and human review, and demonstrate measurable improvements in productivity, quality, cost, or task completion.

Privacy Counsel will build and lead Beacon’s enterprise privacy program across the company and its portfolio. Responsibilities include M&A privacy diligence and integration, policy and template development, multi-jurisdictional compliance, breach response, vendor privacy management, AI privacy guidance, and employee training. The role partners with legal, IT, engineering, product, governance, risk, and operations teams to establish scalable privacy frameworks across U.S., Canadian, and EU/UK jurisdictions.

Lead a portfolio company’s engineering function by writing production code, modernizing the software development lifecycle, coaching engineers, setting the product roadmap, and implementing AI-powered development and product capabilities. The role requires rapidly learning unfamiliar technology stacks, improving legacy codebases without rewrites, operating independently, and partnering closely with general managers, operators, and customers.
