Teams at Blacksmith

Build and lead Blacksmith’s accounting function, owning month-end and quarter-end close, technical accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, tax strategy, audits, equity accounting, and AP/AR. The Controller will navigate complex venture and enterprise transactions, partner with legal on entity structure and transfer pricing, and hire accounting and tax teams while supporting capital markets projects.

Own Blacksmith's visual and verbal brand across web, product, social, events, decks, and swag. Translate complex technical concepts into engaging visuals, build a scalable brand system, collaborate with founders and engineers on launch narratives, ship quickly and iterate publicly, and raise craft and quality across the company.

Own full-cycle hiring for GTM and Ops roles, build outbound sourcing/headhunting, partner with founders to define talent standards, run fast high-quality hiring processes, advise the business on market and talent strategy, and grow employer brand and long-term candidate pipelines.
