Teams at BRC (Bowery Residents' Committee)

Provide intensive case management to chronically homeless individuals, including assessments, housing plans, entitlement assistance, housing interviews, referrals, documentation, and coordination with clinical teams. Meet clients in field and office settings, maintain case files, support housing placement, participate in case conferences, and provide emergency first aid, CPR, or overdose-prevention assistance when needed.

Supports recruitment operations, internal mobility, and supplemental workforce administration. Responsibilities include processing requisitions, maintaining recruitment and workforce records, tracking applicants and staffing activity, monitoring timesheets and compliance, preparing reports, resolving administrative issues, and supporting audits and process improvement initiatives.

Provides field-based case management and independent living support to adults with serious mental illness and/or substance use disorders. Responsibilities include intake, service planning, documentation, supportive counseling, daily living skills training, medication and money management assistance, referrals, apartment visits, safety checks, crisis support, and participation in team meetings. Uses harm reduction and motivational interviewing approaches and provides on-call coverage.
