What’s the vibe like in the office?
The vibe in the office is awesome! Every day, I get to work with brilliant, fun people. We have dogs, snacks, standing-desks, a foosball table, couches and modern conference rooms. Our open office space allows us to be collaborative, creative and transparent. We hire good people, so everyone in the office is very pleasant to work with.
What's the biggest problem your team is solving?
Call9 is solving a very obvious problem in our healthcare system. Everyday I feel blessed to contribute to a real solution that's bridging the gap between technology and healthcare. I like to solve problems with code, and the work I do gives me a genuine feeling of accomplishment in revolutionizing a system that will affect millions of people.
How does the company support your career growth?
My career has been built around improving access to high-quality healthcare for marginalized populations. I joined Call9 to challenge our country's antiquated healthcare system; finally, I'm able to create meaningful, impactful change. Call9 gives me a radically different toolset to break down decades of a broken system piece by piece.

What is your vision for the company?
We want to be able to create a massive team that is unified around our mission of doing right by the patient. It’s critical that we keep the spirit of product development and what it means to be a startup. Our success has been in our ability for clinicians, product and engineering to work together to create a technology that enables our operations.

How has your career grown since starting at the company?
Call9 puts a lot of faith in teammates. I’ve been given tasks that have drawn me well out of my wheelhouse, and yet I was provided space, support and tools, fully expecting I’d fill the role. We’re not afraid to fail as long as we learn from it. I think it’s fair to say I’ve learned A LOT.
