Lead after-school classroom activities for children ages 5-12: develop and implement Common Core-aligned lesson plans, supervise and manage student behavior, document attendance and incidents, collaborate with staff, maintain organized classroom environments, attend trainings, and respond to medical needs. Provide academic, recreational, and social-emotional learning in a safe, inclusive setting.

Identify and secure internships and work experiences for youth; monitor worksites for WIOA/DYCD compliance; cultivate employer partnerships; assess job readiness; provide individual and group counseling; develop individualized plans; coordinate work-readiness activities and labor market information; maintain participant database and track milestones; attend required trainings and support program operations under Program Director supervision.

Provide outreach and partnership development with worksites and industry partners, deliver work-readiness training and program orientations, match and monitor participants at sites, support DYCD compliance, conduct evaluations and data entry, and assist Program Director with administrative and programmatic tasks across multiple Brooklyn locations.

Lead and manage the site-based afterschool program: oversee day-to-day operations, hire and supervise staff, deliver curriculum and classroom quality, manage enrollment and budget, ensure compliance with DOHMH/DOE/DYCD/FDNY regulations, handle incident reporting, engage families and partners, and prepare for audits and performance reviews.

Supervise after-school staff and oversee daily program operations, ensuring child safety, inclusive environments, documentation (attendance, incident reports, DYCD Connect), lesson planning, parent communication, and collaboration with school partners. Serve as Group Leader as needed and participate in trainings and events.

Provide administrative support for a DYCD/COMPASS after-school program: manage student registration, attendance, documentation, budgets, supplies, and communications with families, staff, and finance. Maintain organized records, support staff and volunteers, and assist Program Director and Site Supervisor to ensure smooth program operations.

Lead and supervise elementary-aged children in after-school programming by developing lesson plans aligned to standards, facilitating academic and enrichment activities, managing behavior and attendance, maintaining a safe inclusive classroom, documenting incidents, collaborating with staff, and participating in trainings to support youth development.

Support after-school program quality by coaching and training staff, reviewing and adapting lesson plans, developing STEM and literacy activities, tracking attendance and participant progress, evaluating program effectiveness, and collaborating with Program Director, school staff, and parents to meet DYCD goals.

Provide administrative HR support including recruitment, onboarding, employee records management in Paycom/HRMS, benefits assistance, compliance support, employee relations, HR audits, and participation in HR projects and events.

Lead and manage an after-school site delivering DYCD/COMPASS services for children ages 5-12. Oversee daily operations, staff hiring and supervision, curriculum implementation, enrollment, budgeting, incident reporting, regulatory compliance, family and community engagement, and partnership development to ensure high-quality, culturally responsive program delivery.

Provide case management and behavioral interventions for high-school-aged youth, develop and implement individual behavior/growth plans, refer families to resources, document progress, and lead workshops on career readiness, college access, financial literacy, and leadership. Build internship worksite networks and collaborate with partners to support youth success.
