Appellate attorney supporting complex litigation and trial-monitoring matters, including catastrophic injury, commercial, premises liability, mass tort, and transportation cases. Responsibilities include reviewing trial and appellate records, conducting rigorous legal research, drafting memoranda, and preparing pretrial, post-trial, appellate, and dispositive motions. The role requires strong legal writing, oral argument, organization, problem-solving, and project-management skills, along with New York Bar admission or eligibility and at least three years of appellate experience.

Defends insurance-related personal injury, bodily injury, civil litigation, and property damage matters. Manages a 25–30 matter caseload, conducts depositions, hearings, mediations, legal research, discovery, and motion practice. Prepares cases for trial, participates in trials, monitors trial proceedings, evaluates appeals, analyzes insurance coverage, investigates claims, develops case strategies, and communicates with carrier clients and insureds.

Represent insurer and non-insurer clients in defense and coverage litigation across marine, energy, renewable energy, and transportation sectors. Prepare pleadings, briefs, correspondence; conduct legal research; manage pretrial through trial tasks; attend depositions, hearings, mediations; and provide appellate and trial support for cases in state and federal courts.
