Leads the PMO and project management team, overseeing enterprise projects, regulatory initiatives, project intake, prioritization, resource allocation, governance, budgets, reporting, stakeholder communication, and project delivery. Establishes project management best practices, facilitates steering committees, develops project managers, monitors performance, and supports organizational transformation within a financial services environment.

Conduct independent quality assurance testing of financial crime compliance activities, including transaction monitoring, sanctions screening, and investigations. Review case documentation, identify errors and control weaknesses, document findings, support reporting and thematic analysis, escalate risks, and maintain audit-ready workpapers. Participate in calibration and peer review sessions while staying current on regulatory guidance and internal compliance procedures.

Supports the bank’s Enterprise Risk Management framework by preparing risk reports, dashboards, KRIs, KPIs, and executive materials; coordinating issues management, risk and control self-assessments, and control testing; analyzing data for trends and emerging risks; maintaining risk documentation; and improving reporting processes, data quality, and operational efficiency.

Coordinates Financial Intelligence Unit requests, including Section 314(b) requests, subpoenas, and information requests. Gathers and quality-checks documentation, coordinates with internal and external stakeholders, maintains records and tracking logs, monitors deadlines, follows up on outstanding items, and escalates issues. Provides administrative support for FIU meetings, reporting, special projects, and related tasks while handling confidential information according to bank procedures.

Analyze OFAC sanctions screening alerts across banking, ACH, card, retail banking, money services, and fintech transactions. Investigate potential matches, document decisions, escalate violations and risks, coordinate with internal departments, clients, and vendors, monitor regulatory developments, complete required training, and support compliance process improvements.

Reviews and dispositions potential FinCEN 314(a) matches, investigates financial crime risks, documents findings, prepares SARs, monitors AML/BSA regulatory changes, analyzes match trends, and supports process improvements within the Financial Intelligence Unit.

Reviews transaction monitoring alerts and referrals for unusual or potentially suspicious activity. Analyzes transactions, customer profiles, account histories, prior investigations, filings, and external research; documents findings and case narratives; recommends dispositions; escalates potential suspicious activity; manages deadlines; identifies trends; and supports FIU projects while developing AML/BSA and financial crime expertise.

Owns the bank’s multi-year cloud strategy, platform engineering, operating model, security controls, compliance evidence, budget, and AWS relationship. Leads cloud engineers responsible for landing zones, networking, automation, CI/CD, containers, resilience, observability, and infrastructure as code. Partners with executives, security, risk, compliance, auditors, and technology teams in a regulated environment. Oversees cloud migrations, incident escalation, control remediation, cost management, hiring, and team development.
