The Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS) is the national organization supporting state regulators and advancing the U.S. dual-banking system. It promotes safe and sound financial supervision, consumer protection, economic growth, and innovative, responsive regulation. CSBS also facilitates collaboration among state and federal regulators, coordinates licensing of non-depository companies, and helps strengthen the effectiveness of state banking and financial-services oversight.
