Designs conceptual, preliminary, and final high-voltage substation structures, foundations, lightning protection systems, bus systems, and factory-built structures. Prepares and reviews structural and foundation calculations, drawings, equipment specifications, and layouts for code and customer compliance. Coordinates with project managers, customers, and internal teams, supports proposals and schedules, resolves technical and construction issues, and answers customer questions.

Supports project engineering teams with structural and physical high-voltage substation design. Responsibilities include structural calculations, steel sizing, foundation design, electrical clearance review, bus and layout checking, structural modeling in Autodesk Inventor, drawing preparation, code compliance, technical guidance, customer specification review, and coordination with design and project management teams.

The Safety Specialist oversees safety protocols, training, and compliance for construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and conducting audits.
