As Director of Platform Engineering, you'll lead platform strategy, team health, and engineering execution while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance Grata's products and systems.

Manage assigned Grata accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and ROI. Drive onboarding, adoption, renewals, upsells, and churn mitigation. Hybrid role in NYC with mentorship and potential for full-time conversion.

Lead and manage the engineering team owning Grata's proprietary company data. Oversee large-scale ingestion, entity resolution, search/indexing, pipeline reliability, data quality, and cross-functional delivery while coaching engineers and balancing short-term delivery with long-term technical health.

Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs for the Blueflame AI platform using Python. Optimize databases (MongoDB, Redis), ensure security, contribute to system design and architecture, review code, and collaborate with Product and Client Success to deliver features and fixes.

Lead Grata's AI/ML team to define multi-quarter AI strategy, ship and maintain production LLM, retrieval, RAG, and agentic workflow systems, build evaluation/monitoring frameworks, hire and develop engineers and applied scientists, and partner cross-functionally to deliver measurable customer and business impact.

Support Sales leadership by maintaining Salesforce data quality, optimizing workflows, and building dashboards. Manage territory, lead routing, pipeline, forecasting, and sales performance reporting. Identify inefficiencies and implement scalable solutions to improve productivity, forecast accuracy, and revenue growth while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, CS, Finance, and Leadership.

Work with clients and Customer Success to design, build, and maintain server-side components for an AI platform. Implement and optimize databases, RESTful APIs, security, distributed systems, and performance; troubleshoot bugs; document code and collaborate with front-end engineers.

Design, build, and operate an enterprise AI platform: automate provisioning with IaC, deploy zero-downtime cloud services, enforce security and observability, review code, mentor engineers, and participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
