Build and improve DeepL’s API platform and developer experience through self-service onboarding, configuration flows, reusable platform components, documentation, SDKs, and starter templates. Lead global communications with a US focus: own media relationships, write press releases and bylines, define messaging frameworks, shape executive thought leadership, manage reputation and crises, secure speaking opportunities, measure coverage and sentiment, and scale comms operations across product, policy, marketing, and leadership.

Lead design and delivery of developer-facing APIs and platform tooling: improve onboarding and DevEx, build SDKs and docs, enforce contract testing and automated quality gates, partner cross-functionally to ensure secure, scalable API platform operations and SLO-driven production reliability.

Lead developer-focused growth for DeepL's headless surfaces (MCP, CLI). Drive discoverability, instrument activation funnel to paid usage, create production-quality developer artifacts and content, build ecosystem presence, and feed actionable developer insights into product and engineering.

Lead the architecture and scaling of a hyper-scalable API platform and microservices, enable enterprise integrations (AWS Marketplace, SaaS), deliver trust features (granular billing, data residency, auditability), establish platform standards and self-service tooling, and drive engineering velocity and cross-team technical strategy.
