Manages client billing operations for a law firm, including global billing processes, monthly close, reporting, issue resolution, client and attorney escalations, and ServiceNow ticket queues. Leads and develops Client Account Analysts, provides training and performance feedback, tracks service metrics, and implements process improvements. Partners with stakeholders to establish billing best practices and leads related projects while ensuring timely, accurate service delivery.

Supports DLA Piper’s Restructuring Practice by researching distressed debt, restructuring, and stressed investment opportunities. Develops target lists, financial and statistical models, monitoring tools, and market analyses. Tracks economic developments, news, SEC filings, and other data sources to identify opportunities and risks. Presents findings to restructuring partners and leadership, collaborates with business development, coordinates review meetings, and improves data retrieval and reporting processes.

The Of Counsel will lead litigation efforts, especially in pharmaceutical/medical device cases, drafting legal documents, supervising associates, and developing strategies.
