The Mainframe Systems Programmer supports installation, testing, and implementation of z/OS systems software, and handles system maintenance and debugging, performance monitoring, incident resolution, and vendor communication.

Senior technical authority for IBM AIX and Power Systems architecture, engineering, migration, performance tuning, automation, and resiliency. Lead large-scale OS and hardware migrations, own lifecycle management, incident escalation/RCA, HA/DR design, and mentor L3 engineers while ensuring governance, compliance, and vendor coordination.

Manage small-to-medium multi-phased IT projects including scheduling, stakeholder communication, hardware/software installs and decommissions, and data migrations. Support senior PMs, track risks/issues, enforce PMO standards, and ensure timely project closeout and documentation.
