The Director, Research - Power Markets is responsible for leading the QA/QC process for long-term forecasting, advising leadership, and ensuring market insights are effectively integrated into forecasts.

Perform comprehensive title searches for energy and utility projects, identify and resolve title defects, prepare and review title commitments and conveyance documents, plot legal descriptions, and support scalable title processes. Advise energy teams on mineral/royalty, leasehold, easements, and underwriting/curative matters while collaborating cross-functionally to remove blockers and ensure clear property titles for projects.

Lead power market analysis and forecasting, develop market models, and produce CRR/FTR and broad power market publications. Provide client-facing insights, host webinars, and generate trade/congestion risk recommendations. Mentor junior staff, collaborate cross-functionally, and represent the company as an industry thought leader.
