Develop and execute catastrophe pricing strategies across global property portfolios. Integrate RMS, AIR, climate, and portfolio model outputs into pricing metrics, technical assumptions, segmentation, and underwriting guidance. Monitor catastrophe accumulation, rate adequacy, profitability, and return metrics while supporting portfolio optimization decisions. Enhance pricing data, modeling techniques, and analytical tools, and communicate complex catastrophe risk concepts to business stakeholders.

Ten-week actuarial internship supporting property and casualty insurance and reinsurance pricing. Responsibilities include assisting pricing actuaries, performing actuarial analyses, manipulating and analyzing data, researching industry sources, and supporting underwriting operations. Interns participate in training, networking, and professional development while building skills for a potential rotational development program. Candidates should be college juniors with quantitative backgrounds and strong Excel skills; VBA, R, SQL, and actuarial exam experience are preferred or beneficial.

Conduct quarterly and annual loss and loss adjustment expense reserve analyses for Property & Casualty reinsurance. Develop reserve recommendations, analyze loss development and trends, support statutory and GAAP reporting, prepare actuarial documentation, and explain reserve movements to management. Collaborate with Finance, Claims, Underwriting, Pricing, and Enterprise Risk Management while contributing to methodology improvements, automation, governance, and process transformation.
