Teams at Exa (exa.ai)

Serve as an early legal hire supporting enterprise sales and other teams. Draft, review, and negotiate customer, data licensing, vendor, and other commercial agreements across EMEA and APJ. Build legal infrastructure, including templates, playbooks, and processes, while advising on compliance, data privacy, and legal operations. Partner cross-functionally to accelerate deal execution and provide practical legal guidance.

Leads and scales Exa’s New York SDR team, owning daily management, coaching, hiring, onboarding, ramp, culture, and pipeline performance. The role refines outbound targeting, messaging, and multichannel sequences across calls, email, and LinkedIn while partnering with sales and marketing leadership. Candidates should have SaaS sales or business development experience, SDR management expertise, strong pipeline results, and experience building high-performing inbound and outbound teams in a fast-growing startup.

Embed with customer engineering teams to integrate Exa's Search API into production: build demos, ship full-stack fixes and features, debug across stack, run sales and technical calls, and translate customer feedback into product improvements while driving adoption and expansion.
