Supports production data planes, handles escalations, conducts recovery drills, and partners with platform and data engineering teams. The role also requires customer-facing communication about data residency, retention, encryption, and access within FedRAMP environments.

As a Platform Engineer II, you will design AWS platform features, manage CI/CD pipelines, and operate Kubernetes with security compliance while leveraging AI tools.

Lead the technical vision and architecture for a core risk-signal processing platform. Design and operate scalable backend systems, data-intensive applications, and microservices while ensuring reliability, observability, security, performance, and operational excellence. Oversee CI/CD, testing, deployments, and cost optimization; deliver features across backend, frontend, infrastructure, and data systems; and mentor engineers while balancing near-term delivery with long-term architectural goals.
