Teams at Fanatics

Leads engineering teams delivering scalable, reliable software for Fanatics’ mobile app and internal platforms. Responsibilities include technical leadership, architecture, roadmap planning, project execution, Scrum facilitation, KPI-driven improvement, stakeholder communication, blocker removal, recruiting, and cross-functional collaboration. Requires engineering management experience, scalable systems expertise, strong communication, analytical ability, and Agile/Scrum familiarity. Occasional travel is required.

Lead the architecture, development, testing, deployment, and operation of scalable backend systems for Fanatics Core. Drive complex technical initiatives end to end, establish engineering standards, resolve incidents, improve observability and software quality, and mentor engineers. Collaborate with product, design, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable features across Fanatics’ sports, commerce, gaming, payments, identity, loyalty, and platform products.

Leads technical strategy and end-to-end execution for complex Android and mobile platform features. Builds scalable applications using Kotlin, Kotlin Multiplatform, and Compose Multiplatform; influences architecture, engineering standards, and cross-app code sharing. Partners with product and design, resolves incidents, improves observability and software quality, conducts code reviews, and mentors engineers. The role requires expertise in Android ecosystems, client-supporting systems, and native application operations, with occasional travel.
