Supervise dock and freight operations to ensure shipments are delivered on time and damage free. Lead, schedule, train, and develop employees; monitor safety, service compliance, freight classification, costs, and operational efficiency. Coordinate assignments, customer appointments, claims, rate quotes, and shipment issues. Ensure proper processing of OS&D freight, regulatory compliance, reporting, and communication with employees and business partners.

Supervises freight operations employees and coordinates staffing, schedules, assignments, shipment cut times, safety, service quality, and damage prevention. Monitors freight classifications, OS&D processing, costs, and operational performance while addressing customer quotes, claims, and appointments. Ensures compliance with transportation, safety, hazardous materials, and company requirements, develops employees, and maintains effective relationships with customers and business partners in a fast-paced dock environment.

Facilitates virtual and in-person training, certifications, onboarding, and compliance education. Partners with instructional designers to develop and maintain course materials, schedules classes, manages logistics, and supports operations education initiatives. Coordinates new-hire onboarding, provides onsite support, and contributes to assigned projects and committees. Requires flexibility, travel, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in operational environments.
