Senior Counsel will serve as the General Counsel’s first legal hire, leading commercial contracting across fintech, payments, crypto, banking, and technology partnerships. The role independently negotiates agreements, manages Latin American legal matters, advises on regulated financial products, supports data privacy and consumer lending issues, and builds scalable contract review processes using AI legal technology. The position requires US and Latin American legal qualifications, fintech or financial services experience, strong technology contracting expertise, and Spanish fluency.

Lead cross-product discovery and define Felix’s conversational, generative, and declarative UI platform. Ship the initial experience on WhatsApp, establish patterns for native iOS and Android, guide product designers across squads, and design compliant financial interactions with legal and risk partners. Conduct research, analyze transcripts and analytics, prototype in Figma and code, generate concepts, and set direction for how products, context, and assistant behavior work together across conversational surfaces.

Lead discovery and product design for Felix’s conversational AI platform, defining generative and declarative UI patterns across WhatsApp, iOS, and Android. Research user behavior, prototype and ship platform experiences, establish conversation design direction, collaborate with product squads and engineers, and integrate compliance, consent, and recovery states into the experience.

Leads fraud strategy and prevention for a consumer lending product, owning fraud typologies, repayment and chargeback analytics, decision-engine rules, machine-learning risk models, blocking protocols, investigation workflows, and fraud performance metrics. Partners with Credit Risk, Data Science, Engineering, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to identify synthetic identity, account takeover, and loan abuse patterns while supporting regulatory reporting and profitable growth.

Lead fraud strategy and prevention for a consumer lending product. Design fraud typologies, analyze repayment fraud, identity spoofing, chargebacks, synthetic identities, and account takeover risks, and own fraud performance metrics. Architect decision-engine rules, deploy machine-learning risk models, develop automated blocking and investigation workflows, and coordinate with Legal and Compliance on suspicious activity reporting and regulatory requirements.

Own fraud performance across cards, ACH, and digital wallets by analyzing fraud vectors, payment mechanics, and emerging threats. Design product-based controls, authentication steps, holds, and friction strategies; partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science; run experiments to measure fraud reduction and conversion impact; and maintain decisioning logic in Sardine or Oscilar. The role requires advanced SQL and Python, payment rail expertise, analytics, machine learning knowledge, and strong cross-functional communication.
