Senior Counsel will serve as the General Counsel’s first legal hire, leading commercial contracting across fintech, payments, crypto, banking, and technology partnerships. The role independently negotiates agreements, manages Latin American legal matters, advises on regulated financial products, supports data privacy and consumer lending issues, and builds scalable contract review processes using AI legal technology. The position requires US and Latin American legal qualifications, fintech or financial services experience, strong technology contracting expertise, and Spanish fluency.

Lead and develop an engineering team building foundational AI and machine learning platform capabilities. Own technical architecture, roadmap execution, ML pipelines, compute infrastructure, model evaluation, platform scalability, and reusable infrastructure for AI teams. Mentor engineers, manage performance and hiring, improve engineering productivity, document systems, and partner with Product and Engineering leadership to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

Design, build, and scale production-grade autonomous AI agents for Felix’s WhatsApp-based fintech platform. Responsibilities include agent architecture, LLMOps observability, product integration, containerized deployment, evaluation pipelines, RAG and cost optimization, and technical mentorship. The role requires translating AI strategy and business needs into reliable, maintainable systems supporting payments, loans, fraud, and other critical functions.
