Supports the Financial Times US newsroom through pitching, reporting, writing, interviewing, research, document analysis, newsletter curation, digital projects, and special projects. The intern works with editors and correspondents in a collaborative multimedia newsroom, develops original story ideas, meets deadlines, and contributes to business and financial journalism. The internship runs June 7 through August 13, 2027, pays $22 per hour, and requires at least three office days weekly.

Paid ten-week internship producing audio journalism for the Financial Times News Briefing. Responsibilities include researching and pitching story ideas, gathering tape and archive audio, coordinating and recording interviews, and producing and editing podcast elements. Candidates should have strong writing, editing, communication, and organizational skills, an interest in business and financial news, and experience using Descript or similar audio-editing software.

Supports the Financial Times audience engagement team by developing social media strategies, producing multimedia content, engaging readers, analyzing audience behavior, and advising on SEO and social trends. The intern will help promote journalism across platforms, support news coverage and special projects, and present growth ideas to leadership during a paid ten-week summer internship.
