Leads the artistic and technical execution of complex FX and character dynamics simulations, including cloth, fur, hair, skin, muscle, and environmental effects. Mentors FX and CFX technical directors, develops Houdini and Maya production setups, runs hero simulations, troubleshoots pipeline issues, and coordinates asset handoffs across departments. The role also requires scripting, tool development, lighting, rendering, compositing, technical reviews, and communication with artists and supervisors.

Provides escalation-level IT support across North American studios, administering workstations, operating systems, applications, storage, virtualization, licensing, monitoring, and render-farm software. Supports enterprise file systems, infrastructure alerts, documentation, artist workflows, and technology projects. Requires hardware repair and build experience, scripting, Active Directory, VMware, storage architecture, and customer-facing troubleshooting. Participates in an on-call rotation.
