Own and develop safety-critical firmware for autonomous transit vehicles, including RTOS applications, communication architectures, bootloaders, drivers, board bring-up, diagnostics, and automated testing. Lead cross-functional embedded projects, optimize performance on resource-constrained platforms, establish engineering standards, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers. The role requires expert C or C++, embedded systems experience, safety-critical development, and typically seven or more years of production embedded software experience.

Design and build unified testing frameworks enabling portability across SIL, HIL, and simulation. Configure and maintain physical HIL benches and hardware interfaces, integrate automated HIL tests into CI pipelines, collaborate with software teams to improve HIL/CI systems, and monitor runtime performance, system health, and reliability metrics across testing platforms.

Lead the development and continual improvement of Glydways’ Quality Management System toward ISO 9001 certification. Manage supplier quality, inspections, audits, CAPA, nonconformance processes, design review gates, configuration management, defect management, and software quality integration. Establish quality controls across vehicle build, assembly, integration, and deployment while ensuring traceability, audit readiness, safety, and continuous improvement across engineering, supply chain, operations, and test teams.
