Litigation Associate Attorneys handle civil appellate matters, including legal writing, argument, trial monitoring, and collaboration with experienced attorneys. Oversees the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice processing, payment administration, reconciliations, vendor records, financial controls, and client expense accounting. Leads and develops the AP team, supports month-end and year-end close, audits, accruals, and 1099 preparation. Partners with Finance, Billing, Procurement, and administrative teams to improve processes, resolve issues, strengthen controls, and ensure accurate, timely payments and expense recording.

Leads the firm's AI, emerging technology, and data analytics strategy. Manages a team evaluating and implementing tools, developing AI use cases, designing prompts and automations, delivering training, supporting users, and producing reports and dashboards. Oversees data quality, governance, responsible AI practices, adoption measurement, vendor evaluations, and cross-functional technology initiatives while translating legal and business needs into secure, practical solutions.

Prepare, submit, and manage client invoices ensuring compliance with firm policies, client OCGs, and eBilling requirements. Use BillBlast and eBilling portals to monitor invoice status, resolve rejections and payment issues, communicate with attorneys, produce billing reports, maintain records, and support month-end and special projects.

Provide litigation support under attorney supervision: prepare and manage legal documents and filings, perform eDiscovery and legal research, assist with discovery and trial preparation, coordinate vendors and court logistics, and accurately bill time.

Administer, maintain, and support the firms Aderant financial systems and related applications. Provide technical support, troubleshoot integrations, configure customizations, develop reports/dashboards, manage updates/backups, and collaborate with Accounting, Legal Operations, and Analytics on system enhancements, testing, documentation, and user training to improve financial workflows and reporting.
