The Chief Financial Officer will lead finance, accounting, FP&A, financial strategy, budgeting, forecasting, controls, audit readiness, cash management, and systems modernization for a complex multi-entity charter school network. Reporting to the CEO, the CFO will oversee a roughly $300 million operating budget, a $500 million real estate portfolio, and a 15–18-person finance team. The role includes advising the CEO and Board, strengthening financial infrastructure, integrating technology and AI, developing organizational financial acumen, and guiding long-term capital and real estate strategy.

Administer and optimize KIPP NYC’s Salesforce platform supporting student enrollment, family engagement, marketing, and advancement. Responsibilities include configuration, user permissions, automation, integrations, reporting, dashboards, data quality, troubleshooting, documentation, training, and stakeholder support. The role partners with internal teams and vendors to improve workflows, system adoption, and operational effectiveness. It requires a hybrid schedule in Manhattan and travel to schools across New York City.

The Chief People Officer will lead KIPP NYC’s enterprise People function for more than 1,200 employees across multiple schools and entities. Responsibilities include workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development, performance management, total rewards, employee and labor relations, HR systems modernization, compliance, people analytics, equity and belonging, succession planning, and organizational change. Reporting to the CEO, the CPO will advise executives and the Board, build scalable HR infrastructure, lead an approximately 18-person team, and strengthen educator recruitment, retention, and organizational culture.

Leads elementary school curriculum, assessment, culture, student discipline, teacher coaching, professional development, and academic operations. The Dean analyzes student performance, sets instructional goals, observes and evaluates teachers, supports behavior plans, coordinates schedules and reporting, participates in hiring, and collaborates with school leadership, families, and staff to improve student achievement.

Teaches middle school students with disabilities and IEPs using differentiated instruction, targeted interventions, and a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum. Collaborates with general education teachers, assesses student progress, uses data to guide instruction, provides individual or small-group support, communicates with families and colleagues, and contributes to a mission-driven school culture.

Provides small-group and individualized special education instruction to K–4 students, teaches rigorous curriculum aligned with school and New York State standards, assesses student progress, communicates with families and colleagues, and collaborates with teachers to support student achievement and growth.

Leads college access, persistence, and completion strategies across two southern KIPP regions, 15–17 high schools, and approximately 1,500–1,800 seniors. Coaches school and regional leaders, monitors enrollment and completion data, improves college and career programming, manages strategic initiatives and resources, facilitates professional development, and collaborates across KIPP teams and external partners. The role drives measurable postsecondary outcomes and includes up to 30% travel.

Leads KIPP NYC’s individual giving strategy, managing a portfolio of 75–100 donors and family foundation prospects. Responsibilities include cultivating and soliciting major gifts, developing proposals and stewardship plans, leading donor events, building prospect pipelines, analyzing fundraising data, forecasting revenue, and partnering with executives, board members, and school teams to advance philanthropic support.

Leads KIPP NYC’s complex, multi-entity payroll function, overseeing payroll operations, compliance, internal controls, UKG systems, vendors, employee service, and process improvement. Manages and develops a payroll team while partnering with Finance, People Operations, FP&A, Accounting, school leaders, and external providers. Ensures accurate, timely, compliant payroll processing, strengthens data integrity, resolves systemic issues, and supports payroll accounting, budgeting, audits, and organizational growth.

The Manager, Staff Accountant supports general ledger operations, journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly and year-end close, financial reporting, audit preparation, and GAAP compliance. The role investigates discrepancies, maintains accurate financial documentation, partners with Finance and school-based teams, and contributes to process and system improvements. This hybrid position is based in Midtown Manhattan and includes travel to KIPP NYC campuses.

Leads KIPP NYC’s HR technology ecosystem, including HCM strategy, configuration, integrations, data governance, payroll controls, reporting, and system optimization. Oversees cross-functional implementations, process improvements, vendor relationships, project governance, change management, and employee service delivery. Partners with People, Payroll, Finance, IT, and school teams to ensure accurate, secure, compliant, and scalable employee lifecycle operations while translating workforce data into actionable organizational insights.

Manage KIPP NYC’s full-cycle accounts payable operations, including invoices, reimbursements, vendor records, payment runs, controls, compliance, audits, reporting, and close support. Lead process improvements, systems initiatives, vendor relationships, and team development while ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial services across schools and regional teams.

Support daily operation and administration of an after-school program, maintain DYCD compliance and records, supervise students, coordinate family engagement and events, assist Program Director with staffing/operations, and contribute to a safe, engaging environment that promotes academic enrichment and social-emotional growth.

Lead and manage a full-time, in-person middle school after-school program: develop curriculum and vision, recruit and coach staff, ensure compliance and operational excellence, manage budgets, build family and community partnerships, and use data to drive continuous improvement and student engagement.

Leads end-to-end data architecture, engineering pipelines, semantic-layer development, data quality, monitoring, and platform operations. Manages agile sprint planning, release delivery, DevOps metrics, and cross-functional project plans. Establishes MLOps and machine-learning platform capabilities, mentors data engineers, manages team members, and ensures reliable, well-governed data solutions for business intelligence and reporting.

Leads end-to-end data architecture, engineering pipelines, ETL, data modeling, quality monitoring, and Tableau BI platform operations. Partners with stakeholders to define requirements, manage project plans, lead agile sprints, and deliver reliable data solutions. Establishes governance, security, performance, and continuous improvement practices while developing AI-enabled analytics capabilities. Mentors data engineers and manages team performance, documentation, dependencies, and delivery across multiple workstreams.
