Supports Kiva’s Business Development team by researching prospective partners, conducting outreach, managing inquiries, analyzing partner performance, creating case studies and pitch materials, and supporting partner onboarding and engagement. The intern also assists with marketing collateral, presentations, charts, graphs, and borrower-support content while developing partnership-building, research, communication, and relationship-management skills.

Supports Kiva’s strategic partnerships pipeline through prospect research, outreach drafting, pitch decks, proposals, conference preparation, and partnership materials. Tests and documents AI tools for business development workflows, helps organize engagement history, and contributes to templates and special projects. The role provides practical experience in business development, storytelling, partner engagement, and AI-enabled workflows while supporting corporate, foundation, and individual donor partnerships.

Supports Kiva U.S. loan operations by screening applications, assisting borrowers during fundraising, managing delinquency, improving processes and infrastructure, collaborating with partners, analyzing data, collecting borrower stories, and enhancing training resources. The role is a six-month, part-time remote volunteer internship supporting entrepreneurs and cross-functional program initiatives.
