Supports attorneys and the Project Coordinator in detained immigration removal-defense cases. Responsibilities include maintaining case files and databases, entering data, generating reports, assisting with litigation, preparing relief applications and affidavits, gathering client documentation, providing direct client assistance, and supporting representation before USCIS. The role requires collaboration with attorneys and social workers, may involve off-site and evening work, and requires a minimum two-year commitment.

Law Reform Legal Interns support impact litigation and policy initiatives addressing systemic issues affecting Legal Aid clients. Responsibilities may include legal and factual research, client interviewing, discovery and trial practice, drafting legal papers, policy memoranda, legislative testimony, and coalition or public education work. Applicants must be second- or third-year law students with strong research, writing, communication, analytical, and organizational skills, plus a commitment to racial and social justice.

Provides immigration legal services through limited-scope clinics, including preparing applications, consulting with clients, conducting community presentations, training volunteers, identifying legal trends, and developing client resources and best practices. The attorney manages high-volume matters, collaborates with Legal Aid staff and community partners, supports grant-related data updates, and represents the organization in community settings.
