Represent sponsors of alternative investment funds and advise on the tax aspects of mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, private equity funds, structures, and international transactions. The role requires strong written and oral communication, self-direction, teamwork, and an eagerness to learn. Candidates must hold a JD or Tax LL.M. and be admitted in good standing to the New York Bar.

Develops and manages legal knowledge, precedents, training, and best-practice systems for the US LAI practice. Partners with attorneys and leaders to improve knowledge sharing, legal service delivery, generative AI adoption, workflow efficiency, and business development. Responsibilities include creating legal training and materials, updating precedents, identifying legal and market developments, supporting client publications, and recommending improvements to knowledge processes. The role requires a US-qualified New York or DC lawyer with at least four years of post-qualification experience.

Provides US-qualified legal advice and sign-off on privilege, disclosure, legal risk, document preservation, collection, review, analysis, and production for litigation, investigations, and regulatory matters. Coordinates with legal teams, clients, vendors, forensic specialists, and review teams; validates eDiscovery strategies, protocols, technologies, training, quality controls, and regulatory compliance. Monitors legal and technological developments and contributes to best practices, playbooks, reporting, and matter management.
