Provides legal advice to Lloyds Banking Group’s North American commercial banking business, focusing on corporate lending, capital markets, syndicated and bilateral credit facilities, fund finance, trade finance, letters of credit, and regulatory matters. Drafts and negotiates transaction documents, advises bank affiliates on banking regulations, and partners with bankers and internal stakeholders. Requires strong communication, analytical, advocacy, relationship-building, prioritization, and client-service skills.

Supports corporate banking coverage for North American banks and specialty finance clients. Responsibilities include client relationship management, origination, transaction execution, financial modeling, ROI analysis, credit and risk coordination, regulatory compliance, sector research, marketing materials, and tracking client performance. The role partners across coverage, products, credit, legal, compliance, and risk teams while developing cross-selling opportunities and managing assigned client relationships.

Support origination and execution of public and private bond transactions across North America and international markets. Responsibilities include developing market insights, structuring debt solutions, preparing pitch books and RFP responses, coordinating with clients and transaction stakeholders, producing market updates and management reports, and supporting liability management initiatives. The role also involves mentoring junior team members and collaborating with Markets, Syndicate, Sales, Trading, Risk, Legal, and international product teams.
